ISO 9001:2000 Certification
With the purpose of adjusting CentralCasa's processes to the needs of the clients and of the other parties, a Quality Management System was structured according to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard.
The certification was audited by TÜV Rheinland.
AMB3E Certification
The Amb3E- Associação Portuguesa de Gestão de Resíduos de Equipamentos Eléctricos e Electrónicos (Portuguese Association for the Management of Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) is a non-profit association under private law, which, on March 13th, 2006, received its licence granted by the Ministers for Economy and Innovation and Environment and Territorial Planning, giving it the right to manage waste from electrical and electronic equipment. It was based on the Decree-law no. 230/2004 from December 10th, 2004, which has transposed into the Portuguese law system the European Directives on WEEE (Waste from electrical and electronic equipment) and RoHS (restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE). Amb3E has currently 60 associated companies (57 founders) and more than 600 users.
ANREEE Certification
ANREEEs mission is to create, organize and make available the register of EEE producers in order to monitor and control the fulfilment of producer's obligations and objectives, as established in the corresponding decree and other applicable legislation. The Producer's register ANREEE works as an entity which controls the EEE quantities that each producer annually puts on the market (information subject to a strict observation of confidentiality), and also follows up on the life cycle of each EEE by means of the information received from the management systems. Thus, it is always possible to follow up on the adequate WEEE management so that it can be properly valued and treated, by reducing the environmental damage to a minimum. ANREEE also informs the competent public entities and alerts them to possible violations of the registering obligation, established in the already mentioned decree. ANREEE also issues the Register's Certificates for registered producers.

Sociedade Ponto Verde is the non-profit organization that manages the integrated system of packaging waste collection and treatment in Portugal.
