The Robomow requires an initial installation, which is only necessary to performance once and that anyone can do. A special cable must be extended around the edges of the garden and fixed to the ground with pegs. The cable and pegs are supplied with the Robomow.
The cable connects to a small battery powered by the base station, also supplied. Usually the cable is covered of lawn and invisible in a question of 2 to 3 weeks, and the Robomow will always recognize the cable thanks to a special sensor that assures that it always keeps inside of the garden.

How those it works?
By means of an battery that activates its 3 blades, with a power equivalent to 5,5cv, the Robomow uses a system called "mulching" which functions better that the "mulching" systems also used in conventional lawnmowers thanks to its system of three layers cut at a speed (of the blades) of 5.800 RPM (the double of the conventional lawnmowers). The lawn is cut in small fragments that rest on the garden and that decomposed and nourish the garden (acting as natural manure). As result we will have a more health and pretty garden, eliminating at the same time the necessity to collect the remaining portions of cut lawn.

The Robomow RL1000 can be supplied with a Remote Control for convenient transport of the mower from the garage to the lawn and between plots, as well as mowing very narrow areas manually (available as an accessory). Is the first model of its kind that can be used in any kind of gardens with automatic irrigation system.

This model is indicated for gardens with no more than 2.000m2 where traditionally are used lawnmowers tractors.
