Description
The DIX2 allows to send X10 commands (On, Off, Dim and Bright) to 2 different X-10 addresses. Due to its reduced dimensions it can be mounted in a junction box located behind pulse switches.
This module can have be connected to a single or double faced push button: on the first case, a short press sends ON/OFF commands, while a long press (>0,8s) allow to dim the light; using a 2 faced push button, the top button allow to switch on/brighten the light (using a short or long press), and the bottom button to switch Off/dim.
The DIX2 has potential-free inputs, compatible with any push button. Since this module uses bi-directional communication it receives the X-10 commands from the network and updates its internal status.
The programming of this module is very simple and can be accomplished in two simple steps: press the built-in push button to place the module in programming mode; send the address you wish to program (e.g. A1) twice, using any remote control. The other inputs will be assigned with a sequential address (A2 on our example).
