R.I.T.A. home gateway intends to manage everyday home functions in order to optimize the living and well-being of those which enjoy and share a residential space. It consists of a solution that makes possible an active reaction to unexpected incidents or preventive actions in accordance with the configured comfort specifications.
R.I.T.A. monitories all aspects of security, comfort and communication needed at home, through a graphic, friendly user interface that guarantees access to all users.

The solution consists of a residential gateway, hardware of security, different sensors and different actuators intended to control loads like lights, blinds, appliances, heating systems, etc.

The system also offers vigilance functions such as perimeter surveillance, advanced video-door phone and baby monitor capabilities.
The centralization of important data like energy and water consumption or environmental parameters can be consulted through R.I.T.A.’s interface offering information to the users in order to optimize the dwelling consumptions.
The system works with the power line based protocols like X10, A10 and S10, as well as the international standard for Home Automation EIB/KNX.

Security:
The system R.I.T.A. allows several level solutions in terms of intrusion and technical security. For low level applications the gateway can function as a security system itself. “RF Secure” sensors can be registered through 3 different partitions which can indexed as 24h for technical alarms.
In situations that demand a higher level in terms of security, R.I.T.A. can integrate and control several dedicated security solutions. The communication between hardware can be achieved by IP or RF transmission.

Door Bell monitoring / Surveillance:
R.I.T.A. integrates an IP door bell video system with visualization in the different client interfaces (panel PC, PC, Palm or cell phone). Non answered bell rings can be recorded for posterior visualization. It also gives the possibility of on demand snapshot recording.
Other IP surveillance units can be added to the system for integrated surveillance.

Actions:
Synchronized events parameterization in R.I.T.A. should be a very easy experience for any user. The events programming logic was thoroughly tested in order be so intuitive as possible and the user can choose several “if happens” kind of events and then choose “execute” commands or other synchronized actions.

Heating:
Heating system control regarding 7 days Schedule, comfort and antifreeze temperature set points definition.

Device control:
R.I.T.A. interface offers the ability to control in real time the equipments associated to the power network like lights, blinds, electric appliances, heating systems, etc. The user can choose several types of visualization of the distribution of the different appliances where they can be organized within the real blueprint of the house or selected by its functions.

Event logging:
Record of all activity on the different ways of communication such dedicated BUS, powerline, R.F. or IP.

Recourse consumption loging:
Records of energy, water and gas consumption can be held by R.I.T.A., in order to user understand where it house is more expensive and try to reverse it.
All sensors that acquire information are non intrusive ones.

Maintenance:
R.I.T.A. also offers to the installer or integrator several tools to facilitate its work. Automatic updates, remote assistance, key function locking are some of the refered tools.
For the user the system can also be remote controlled by internet or cell phone.
