AJ-REEDSWITCH - Reed Switch (DoorProtect)

The AJ-REEDSWITCH is the original replacement glass ampoule (magnetic reed switch) that is soldered onto the electronic board of Ajax's door and window opening detectors. This is the small component that detects the presence or absence of the magnet, thus triggering the alarm.

For Advanced Technical Repairs: Due to its fragile nature, this ampoule can break in the event of accidental drops of the detector during installation or due to violent impacts on the door where the equipment is mounted. This part allows installers and technicians with electronic soldering knowledge to replace only the damaged component on the PCB, recovering the full functionality of the client's original detector for a residual cost.
